About us

ABOUT THE SCHEME

This website has been developed for residents of the nine local authorities in Cheshire & Merseyside.  It has been established to empower the local community and promote involvement in alcohol licensing in the local area. To support the community facing challenges involving licensing, this platform offers information and provides resources that encourage participation. Additionally, the guidance on the website also provides alcohol licence holders with knowledge about legislation and guidelines that exist to ensure communal well being.

This scheme is supported by Champs Public Health Collaborative and Hitched Communities to equip individuals with the information and tools to assess alcohol licensing in their neighbourhood.

Champs Public Health Collaborative (Champs)

Led by the Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health, Champs Public Health Collaborative works across the nine Local Authorities in Cheshire and Merseyside. The Collaborative enables resources to be shared and public health initiatives to be delivered across a larger area, improving local health outcomes for its population of 2.5 million people.

Hitched Communities is a not for profit organisation that enables social and sustainable impact among communities through their work in development, impact measurements, funding and more.
